• Understand a weather report and talk about the weather

Written:

• Understand short, simple articles
• Write short emails or (greeting) cards
• Understand advertisements
• Write a short account of, for example, an outing or a vacation
• Understand short written instructions, for example, in safety regulations or a manual
• Compare people and things
• Make and cancel an appointment

This language proficiency level corresponds to level A2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

You can enroll if you meet 1 of these conditions: 

• You are 16 years or older at the time of your enrollment.
• You are 15 years old at the time of your enrollment and have completed the first two years of full-time secondary education.

Do you have a certificate from the previous level? Then you can take this course.
Don't have a certificate? Then you can take a level test at CVO Brussels.

The price is composed of:

• The legal registration fee: € 480
  (Subject to a decree amendment. Decree amendments take precedence over the centre regulations.)
• Training supplies: € 20 (Inclusief course material, digital material, raw materials ...)
• Any supplies used during the lessons: these costs must be paid online immediately upon registration.

Number of class times: 120 (including evaluation and deliberation)
