Exemptions

Have you already acquired certain competencies or qualifications in the past? If so, you may be eligible for an exemption for (parts of) a training course. This can be based on:

Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) Previously Acquired Qualifications (PAQ) Level Tests Intake Interview

How to request an exemption?

  • Submit your application before the start of the module.
  • Submit your application and supporting documents to the secretariat or student support.
  • The management makes a decision in consultation with the relevant teachers and/or the coordinator.
  • You will receive the decision in writing.
Prior Learning Assessment (EVC)

You base your application on competencies you already have, for example:

  • through (work) experience
  • through self-study (such as ICT skills, language knowledge, etc.)
  • via training courses for which you did not receive an official certificate
  • through an assessment test in an officially recognized PLA test center

During a paid EVC test, we map out which competencies you already master.

Previously Acquired Qualifications (EVK)

You base your application on official certificates you have previously obtained:

  • diplomas
  • certificates
  • attestations

Intake Interview

To determine your level and knowledge for a professional training, we provide an intake interview. There, we discuss your motivation and arrange practical matters (registration, scheduling, possible exemptions). We ensure that you start the training smoothly, immediately at the right level.
